Roaring Fun and Thrills Await at Fishergate This Half Term
Preston families are in for a treat this February half term, with Fishergate Shopping Centre hosting two exciting events. From thrilling fairground rides to prehistoric encounters, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Kicking off the festivities is the Preston Feb Half Term Fun Park, running from Thursday, February 13th, to Sunday, February 23rd. Thrill-seekers can enjoy unlimited rides with a standard £8 wristband when booked in advance via Eventbrite or on the door. For those wanting the ultimate experience, a £12 “Go Extreme” wristband grants access to all rides, including the Fusion, Scorpion, and Tagada. Standard wristbands can also be upgraded on arrival for £4.
The Fun Park boasts a fantastic selection of rides and attractions, alongside tempting street food and family-themed entertainment. Daily sessions run from 1 pm to 4 pm, 3 pm to 6 pm, and 6 pm to 9 pm. However, the opening days, Thursday and Friday, February 13th and 14th, will have only one session, from 6 pm to 9 pm. Sunday sessions will not include the 6 pm to 9 pm slot. With so much to offer, the Fun Park promises an action-packed day out for all ages.
For a completely different adventure, Fishergate Shopping Centre invites families to a free “Dino-mite Day Out” on Thursday, February 15th, from 11 am to 3 pm. Prepare to be amazed by life-sized dinosaurs, including a towering T-Rex, a ridable dinosaur, and a soaring Flying Pterosaur.
