This November, Preston City Centre is ready to welcome the festive season with its annual Christmas Light Switch On event. Scheduled to take place at the Flag Market at 5:30 p.m. on November 18th, this much-anticipated event is set to light up the city and kick-start the festive season in style. Proudly sponsored by a range of local businesses, including Lancashire Tea, Bar Pintxos, Friargate: Keep it Local, Gamer X, Jungle World and, Wacky World. These sponsors exemplify the community spirit and local pride that make Preston such a unique and vibrant place to be.
Star-Studded Line-Up and Local Talent
The Preston Light Switch On boasts a star-studded line-up, featuring TikTok sensations Max and Harvey, whose talent and energy are sure to captivate the crowd. Joining them are the legendary soul and disco group, Odyssey, and Coronation Street’s beloved Anthony Cotton. But the talent doesn’t stop there! The event will also showcase incredible local performers, including the dynamic Street Monkeys, talented dancers from Carol May’s Dance Academy, the amazing voice of Micah Bimson, Spotify sensation Becce J, the awe-inspiring DLN Dance, who hold the title of British Champions, and professional football freestyler, four-time world record holder Liv Cooke will also grace the event with her incredible skills.
