What a Day! Celebrating 40 Years in Style
What an absolutely wonderful day Saturday 22nd August turned out to be! We are overwhelmed by the love and warmth that filled the centre from the moment we opened our doors!
To everyone who came and celebrated our 40th birthday with us, we want to send you the biggest thank you. It really does mean so much!
A Day to Remember
From the moment things got started at 11am, the atmosphere was brilliant. Seeing so many familiar faces, so many families and so many people who have been visiting Fishergate for years, some of them for all 40 of those years, was so wonderful.
We had princesses bringing a touch of magic for the little ones, fun workshops, beautiful mini birthday cakes, party games that got everyone involved and some brilliant prizes up for grabs throughout the day. It was everything a birthday celebration should be and more!
40 Years of Memories
Four decades is a long time and over those years Fishergate Shopping Centre has been a part of so many people’s stories. First shopping trips, Christmas visits, after school treats, birthday outings and everything in between. We have watched children grow up, welcomed new generations through our doors and been proud to play a small part in the life of this brilliant city.
Celebrating that milestone with our community felt incredibly special and it is something we will not forget in a hurry.
Thank You, Preston
Events like our birthday celebration are a reminder that Fishergate Shopping Centre is about so much more than shopping. It is a place where people come together, where memories are made and where the Preston community gathers. We are so proud to be part of that and so grateful to every single person who has supported us over the past 40 years.
We can’t wait to see what the future holds and we hope you will be right there with us every step of the way.
