How does Apleona protect my data?
Apleona takes the security of your data seriously. There are internal policies and controls in place to try to ensure that your data is not lost, accidentally destroyed, misused or disclosed, and is not accessed except by our employees in the performance of their duties.
Any data which is stored electronically by the business, is stored securely either within our own corporate data centres, and/or within partner systems that meet our high security standards. Access to any element of this data is only provided to those who may require to access, as part of the requirement of their specific role, and responsibility, assuming they have also successfully traversed the internal approval processes. All employees who may have access to any electronic data are also subject to our internal IT policy and non-disclosure as part of their conditions of employment at Apleona.
Where the Company engages third parties to process personal data on our behalf, we do so on the basis of written instructions, are under a duty of confidentiality and are obliged to implement appropriate technical and Company measures to ensure the security of data.
How long does Apleona keep my data?
We will only store your data for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purpose of the processing of your data, in line with our contractual obligation or to fulfill our legitimate business need.

We take appropriate measures to ensure that any personal data is kept secure, including security measures to prevent personal data from being accidentally lost, or used or accessed in an unauthorised way. We limit access to your personal data to those who have a genuine business need to know it. Those processing your information will do so only in an authorised manner and are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
